From Medieval Knights to African Savannas: You’ll Love These Laser-Engraved Slate Coasters
Laser-engraved slate coasters
I used to think coasters were just practical little things; something to stop rings on the coffee table. Then we started our laser-engraving store and suddenly they became tiny canvases for stories, heritage, and pure vibe.
That’s exactly what happened when we fired up the laser for our latest drop: premium slate coasters, etched with intricate designs that feel like they belong in a castle hall or on a safari lodge bar.
One set channels medieval grit: think gothic-arched frames surrounding a gauntleted hand gripping a sword, crossed blades, a visored knight, a heraldic shield, a towering longsword, and a full armored warrior with axe and shield. The dark slate gives the engravings serious depth; the laser burns in every detail so the textures pop under light.

They come stacked in a custom-fit wooden holder we laser-cut ourselves: simple, sturdy, and perfect for display. It’s the kind of set that turns a casual drink into something epic.
We have Victorian horror-themed coasters for the horror fans.

And because we’re based in South Africa, we couldn’t resist bringing the wild home too. These aren’t generic wildlife prints: the laser captures fine shading and texture, so you almost feel the dust and hear the savanna.

Every set includes that signature kraft box stamped with our logo: Status Creations — Laser Engraving • Marking Life’s Events. No two are identical in their natural slate variations. They’re heavy, durable, felt-backed to protect surfaces, and built to last longer than your average barware.
Why slate? It’s forgiving under the laser; it holds insane detail without fading, and the natural black stone makes every etch stand out like white ink on dark paper. It’s also eco-friendly in its own way: real stone, minimal waste, timeless material.
Our coasters aren’t mass-produced. If you’re building a bar that tells a story, gifting something unique, or just love pieces that feel a little legendary, check them out in the shop.
